KCMG to participate in Asian Le Mans pre-season test in Zhuhai

KC Motorgroup Ltd. confirms to take part in the Asian Le Mans official testing at Zhuhai International Circuit on April 29-30. Re-launched by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) last year, Asian Le Mans will be the fourth 24 Hours of Le Mans-based series created by the ACO. The Asian series follows the American Le Mans Series, European Le Mans Series, and FIA World Endurance Championship.

The six-event season shall open with three races in China; followed by an event at the new Inje International Circuit in South Korea. The last two events will be held in Japan and Indonesia.

KCMG Managing Director Paul Ip is looking forward to take part in the official testing in Zhuhai. “I’m glad that the team will be in Zhuhai for the series’ pre-season testing in April. We’ve been working very hard for the past several months to ensure that the Morgan LMP2 car will be competitive and reliable during the Le Mans events that we’ll be participating in this season. It’s great for ACO to reinitiate the Asian leg of the series. It provides an amazing platform for Asian teams who would like to take part in an endurance race of this caliber.

The first round of Asian Le Mans will be held in Zhuhai, China on May 5. To know more about the series, visit http://www.asianlemansseries.com/
