KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin is set to make his Italian F4 Championship debut this weekend as the series travels to Paul Ricard for Round 5 of the 2023 season.
Sarrazin, who is also competing in Spanish F4 and Euro 4 this year, has extensive experience at the French circuit, having raced there in both French F4 and the FIA Motorsport Games in 2022.
The personnel around the 17-year-old will be familiar, with Edoardo Liberati offering advice and coaching, while Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) will be running the car. Sarrazin also teams up with the Dutch squad in both Spanish F4 and Euro 4.
Cars will hit the track for Free Practice on Friday, before qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday. The weekend will conclude with Races 2 and 3 on Sunday.
PABLO SARRAZIN
“I’m delighted to be racing in my home country this weekend. We’ve had productive testing recently with the team and Edo so I’m feeling ready to go. Paul Ricard is an extraordinary circuit, it’s one I enjoy and feel confident on, so I’m hoping to pick up the strongest results possible.”
EDOARDO LIBERATI KCMG-DDP DRIVER COACH
“I’m looking forward to seeing Pablo in action at Paul Ricard this weekend. It’s a track he knows very well, he raced there last year in French F4 and the FIA Motorsport Games. Recent testing has gone well, so I wish him the best of luck!”
PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER
“Paul Ricard is a circuit Pablo is familiar with, he was very quick there during testing earlier this month. He’s shown strong race pace this season, so we’re hoping to see a positive result this weekend. The focus for Pablo is to fight near the front of the field and challenge the top drivers.”

ABOUT KCMG
The KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) was launched by KCMG founder Paul Ip in 2021, and aims to develop young drivers who have the potential to race for the team in the future. KCMG manages, trains and invests in their drivers as they move up the motorsport ladder. Its members receive driver coaching, development and management services, along with financial support and physical training. Drivers will have a range of opportunities while progressing through the KCMG-DDP, given the multiple championships the team competes in and manufacturers it is partnered with.
