KCMG Driver Developmet Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin heads to Circuit Ricardo Tormo for the sixth event of the 2023 Spanish F4 season, looking to return to the top-10.
The French teenager raced at the Valencia venue last year in French F4, claiming points with a strong drive in the third race of the weekend.
Following outings in Euro F4 and Italian F4 in recent months, Sarrazin’s full focus is on completing the Spanish championship as strongly as possible, with the final event at Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona set for 11-12 November.
Competing in the #12 Van Amersfoort Racing – Monlau Motorsports (VAR/Monlau) Tatuus F4-T-421, the 17-year-old will be targeting a strong qualifying performance to give him the best chance of securing points.
The 4.005-kilometre Circuit Ricardo Tormo runs anti-clockwise and features several twisting turns, with braking points tough to spot and execute. The only long straight of note is the run down to Turn 1, while the heavy braking zone at Turn 2 also offers a solid overtaking opportunity.
PABLO SARRAZIN
“I’m very happy to be racing in Spanish F4 this weekend, the standard is getting higher and higher with more cars on the grid. We’ve got two events left, one in Valencia and one in Barcelona, which are two circuits I really enjoy. I can’t wait to get out on track and give it everything to achieve my best results of the season. I’m very proud to represent KCMG and I’ll keep pushing until the end!”
EDOARDO LIBERATI KCMG-DDP DRIVER COACH
“Pablo’s season is reaching the final few events, and Valencia is another chance for him to show his talent. It’s a track he knows well, having raced there in French F4 last year, and he’s been working very hard recently, so I’m looking forward to seeing how he performs and giving my full support.”
PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER
“Pablo’s had a challenging first half of the season competing in three championships, and the results haven’t been what we were hoping for. However, he’s kept his head down and has been focusing and pushing really hard with the team and Edo. He knows the Valencia track well and enjoys racing there, so we hope this will help him find his qualifying pace, which is crucial to scoring points. Good luck to Pablo, and looking forward to the weekend!”
