KCMG-DDP’S PABLO SARRAZIN TO TACKLE STELLANTIS MOTORSPORT RALLY CUP FRANCE IN 2024

KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) member Pablo Sarrazin is set to take on the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France in 2024, which forms part of the French Rally Championship.

The teenager will take the wheel of a Sarrazin Motorsport-run Peugeot 208 Rally4 once again as he returns to the top of the French domestic rally pyramid. The Sarrazin family has enjoyed success in the series in previous years, both individually and as a team. Pablo’s father Stéphane won the French Rally Championship in 2004, while Sarrazin Motorsport were crowned Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France champions just last year, with Anthony Fotia winning five out of six rallies in a dominant campaign.

Like last year, the 2024 edition of the championship will feature six rallies, including a mix of asphalt and gravel surfaces. The season is set to begin with two asphalt events, at Le Touquet and Charbonnières. This will be followed by a trip to Aléria for the first gravel rally of the campaign, before returning to asphalt at Rouergue for Round 4. The final two events of the competition will take place at Lozère and Var, on gravel and asphalt respectively.

Sarrazin produced a fine performance last time out at the 2023 Rallye du Var last November, where he finished fifth in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France category and claimed victory in Special Stage 9. Geoffrey Combe was his co-driver for that event, and will continue in the role for 2024.

PABLO SARRAZIN

I’m excited to be competing in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France full-time in 2024. The Rallye du Var last year gave me valuable experience and a chance to develop my ability. This year, I’m aiming to hone my skills even further and become comfortable with both asphalt and gravel surfaces, while achieving some strong results along the way. With the help of KCMG and Sarrazin Motorsport, I’m certain that we have a successful year ahead of us!”

GEOFFREY COMBE CO-DRIVER

“It’s great news that Pablo will be continuing his journey into rallying and I’m delighted to join the KCMG family for what I’m sure will be an intense and rewarding season. We can’t wait to get started at the Le Touquet Rally!”

EDOARDO LIBERATI KCMG-DDP DRIVER COACH

“I’m happy to continue working with Pablo in the KCMG Driver Development Project. After two seasons of high-level competition in French and Spanish Formula 4, he’s ready to face a new challenge in the form of rallying. His performance at the Rallye du Var last November showed that he has a lot of potential in the discipline, so full-time participation in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France is an extremely positive step in his career progression. I’m excited to see him both develop the skills he has learned in the past two years and pick up new ones in the coming season.”

PAUL IP KCMG FOUNDER

We’re delighted to continue the Driver Development Project with Pablo for 2024. The aim of the programme has always been to maximise the potential and performance of young racing talents, and the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France presents the perfect opportunity to achieve these goals for Pablo. His experience in single seater racing over the past two years has given him both the skills and mentality to fight at the highest level in any motorsport discipline, and we’re excited to see what he can do with a full season of rallying. We wish both him and his co-driver, Geoffrey, the best of luck for the coming campaign!”

ABOUT KCMG
The KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP) was launched by KCMG founder Paul Ip in 2021, and aims to develop young drivers who have the potential to race for the team in the future. KCMG manages, trains and invests in their drivers as they move up the motorsport ladder. Its members receive driver coaching, development and management services, along with financial support and physical training.
