Kalle Rovanperä, who was scheduled to take on the 2026 Super Formula campaign in our team’s #69 car, has decided to withdraw from all races this season.
Therefore, KCMG has decided to field Seita Nonaka, who has already been announced as the team’s reserve driver, for the opening round, held on 3-5 April at Mobility Resort Motegi in Tochigi Prefecture. As a result of this driver switch, the car’s number will be changed from 69 to 9.
The team respects Kalle’s difficult decision to withdraw from the season. The squad’s driver line-up for the second round and beyond will be decided and announced at a later date.
The entire team wishes Kalle continued success and good fortune in his future endeavours.
In our 17th season of participation, KCMG will be working hard to achieve our goal of our first Super Formula victory and winning the series title. We appreciate your continued support.
