KC Motorgroup (KCMG) is all set for Rounds 9 and 10 of the 2026 SUPER FORMULA season at Fuji Speedway this weekend, which is the penultimate double-header of the current campaign.
Following a two-month break since the latest event at Sportsland SUGO, the championship returns for another visit to Fuji Speedway, after an action-packed triple-header back in July.
Kenta Yamashita scored points during that weekend and once again steps into the outfit’s #8 car. The Japanese driver also enjoyed SUPER GT500 victory at the circuit earlier in the 2026 season.
On the other side of the garage, Giuliano Alesi will look to continue developing the #9 machine as he takes on his fourth and fifth races with KCMG. The Frenchman has extensive experience around Fuji Speedway, securing multiple podiums at the venue in both SUPER GT and Super Formula Lights.
The team also has fond memories of the circuit, having scored its maiden pole position there in 2024 alongside a second and third place finish at the same event.

On-track action begins with Free Practice 1 at 11:00 local time (UTC+9) on Friday. Qualifying kicks off Saturday’s running at 09:40, before the first 41-lap race of the weekend starts at 15:00 later that day. Sunday’s qualifying session is at the slightly later time of 10:00, with lights out for Round 10 at 15:00.
