KCMG’s Blue and White 2013 Livery unveiled

Following a series of successful pre-season tests in Asia and Europe, KC Motorgroup Ltd. reveals its official livery for 2013. The leading Hong Kong-based motorsport team will brandish a blue and white scheme for all of its entries which will compete in various championships around the globe this season.

The team will first reveal its newly designed Morgan-Nissan LMP2 package during WEC’s first event at Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom on April 14-15. As the WEC event coincides with Super Formula’s first round in Suzuka, the team is also looking forward to uncover Richard Bradley’s blue and white Swift FN09 during the Japanese series’ first event.

As the team extends its campaign to further regions away from Asia, it intends to make the KCMG blue and white scheme iconic and be easily recognized in the various circuits where it will compete in 2013. Apart from the Le Mans 24 Hours, 6 Hours of Silverstone and Super Formula, the team will also take part in Asian Le Mans and Formula Masters China Series this season.

KCMG Managing Director Paul Ip has had a very hectic first quarter of 2013. Currently in Europe to supervise the preparations for WEC and Le Mans, he states that he is looking forward to the upcoming events this month where KCMG cars will be showcased donning the new livery design. “We spent a considerable amount of time coming up with this distinct concept which will emblematize us a team. Our design team in Hong Kong, headed by our Chief Graphic Designer Ringo Li did an amazing job. I believe in keeping things classy and streamlined. KCMG’s new livery reflects this perspective.”
