KCMG reveals title partnership with Cebu Pacific Air for Formula Masters

International motorsport group, KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) and Cebu Pacific Air (PSE:CEB), the Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, expanded its 2013 partnership with KCMG’s  campaign in the 2013 Formula Masters China Series (FMCS). As KCMG continues to make its mark in Asia and Europe, the leading Hong Kong-based motorsport team will proceed in Sports Car Project China’s new entry level Formula series under a new team title, CEBU PACIFIC AIR BY KCMG.

FMCS is comprised of 18 rounds over 6 events which will be held in China, Malaysia, South Korea and Macau. In line with this, the series will be staged side by side with some of the most exclusive one-make series events such as the Scirroco R-Cup, Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo and Audi R8 LMS Cup.

KCMG’s unyielding philosophy to work with only the most reputable and outstanding organizations has resulted in a strong relationship with Cebu Pacific Air. For the past 4 years, Cebu Pacific Air has been one of KCMG’s partners in its aggressive campaign in the various motorsport championships around Asia. Since 2009, the airline has supported the team in Japanese Formula 3 by backing Irish race car driver, Gary Thompson and has continued its collaboration with the team in 2012 by becoming KCMG’s official airline sponsor in its maiden season in Formula Pilota China.

Standardizing unparalleled excellence, KCMG and Cebu Pacific Air will work closely together in Formula Masters this year. Both have constantly aimed to reach a wider audience by pushing effective marketing initiatives in both the air transportation and motor sport industries. Apart from incorporating the Cebu Pacific Air branding with KCMG’s FMCS car livery design, drivers Akash Nandy and Ronald Wu’s racing suits will be decked with the airline’s logo. In addition, the brand will be highlighted in all of KCMG’s marketing and promotional efforts throughout the season.

KCMG’s team principal and Managing Director Paul Ip expressed his gratitude over the expanded partnership that KCMG has forged with Cebu Pacific Air for Formula Masters this season. He states, “Over the years that we have been involved with Cebu Pacific Air, it has become clear that our partnership has delivered mutual advantages for both organizations. Through the years, their support for our drivers and motorsport projects has always been constant and more so, significant. As we deepen our partnership further in 2013, we are looking forward and are committed to deliver another successful season with Cebu Pacific Air as our major partner in Formula Masters.”

We are very excited to support the Cebu Pacific Team by KCMG in this year’s Formula Masters China Series. Through Cebu Pacific’s extensive international network, we can bring these talented drivers to their international races, and gain support from racing fans along the way,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
