KCMG primed for Super Formula challenge in Autopolis

KCMG travels to the picturesque southern island of Kyushu for the second event of Super Formula at Autopolis International Circuit on June 1-2. The KCMG Super Formula team, represented by Richard Bradley, prepares for another demanding race on the undulating and highly technical 4.674 km circuit.

The British driver is set to complete 252 km in his blue and white Toyota V8-engined Swift FN09 this upcoming weekend. The 54 lap challenge at Autopolis is distinctly one of the most physically demanding races on the Super Formula calendar this season.

The 21 year old driver arrived in Japan early this week after a month’s break from racing. Bradley states, “I’m really excited as it will be my first time at the Autopolis circuit, which from what I’ve heard, is one of the best circuits in the world. It will also be my first time on Kyushu Island and a good chance to interact with the Super Formula fans there for the first time. I am confident that the team and I can make bigger strides compared to Suzuka due to having more experience now after the first race. I can’t wait to get back into the car!

KCMG General Manager (Japan) Ryuji Doi has been quoted, “We have done a lot of preparations for the second Super Formula event.  It will be Richard’s first time to race on this circuit but he has also prepared well enough. The team is all set and we’re expecting a strong performance in Autopolis this weekend.”
