KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) has its eye on reaping progress as the team takes on another challenge in Super Formula’s fourth round at Twin Ring Motegi from August 3-4. The international motorsport group’s step forward at Fuji Speedway in July has given the team renewed confidence to gain its first championship points this weekend.

KCMG Super Formula driver Richard Bradley has had a dynamic time and has become more adept in handling the blue and white Swift FN09 in various set-ups and circuit conditions. The upcoming race weekend at the 4.8km Motegi road course gives the team an opportunity to set a breakthrough in the highly competitive Japanese championship.

Richard Bradley, Super Formula Driver:I’m very excited going into this weekend as Motegi is a track where I have had memorable racing experiences and good results in the past. I think our package should suits this track better. More so, the hot temperature will be an advantage for me as I become physically stronger in this condition. I’m looking forward to building on the progress we made in Fuji.

Ryuji Doi, KCMG Japan General Manager:It’s safe to say that the team has proven it’s capability to be competitive in this series. However, lady luck has not been on our side, which is sometimes inevitable in racing. Unforeseen incidents during the previous outings have kept us from showing our full potential but we are not backing down. Richard’s efforts are impressive and we are looking forward to compete in Motegi this weekend. I am confident that we’ll be able to deliver strong results there!
