Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG aiming for Sepang victory

NEWS130602-1

The stakes are high as Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG advance to Formula Masters fifth event on Akash Nandy’s home track at Sepang International Circuit on September 13-15. Nandy aims to impress on Malaysia’s highly technical 5.54km circuit and maintain the strong form that he demonstrated at Inje in August.

The 16 year old Malaysian driver currently stands fourth on the Asian formula entry series’ leader board. Nevertheless, Nandy is keen to set the pace throughout the weekend and is once again eyeing victory as he continues to contend for the championship title this season.

With three events left on the 2013 calendar, Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG is still in the running to challenge for the Formula Masters crown.

Akash Nandy, KCMG Formula Masters Driver: “It’s a great feeling to come back to my home circuit and it has been ages since I drove a single seater at Sepang. I can’t wait to get back in the car and work with the team where we will be pushing for stronger and better results.”

John O’Hara, KCMG Deputy Managing Director: “We are back on a circuit where we are very competitive and Akash knows the Sepang track like the back of his hand. The team is confident that we can cap this weekend with superb results and once again victory is our aim.”
