Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG is pleased to announce another addition to its strong driver line up for the remaining events in Formula Masters’ 2013 calendar. After a brief hiatus from racing, Formula Pilota China’s 2012 Championship runner-up Dan Wells is set to rejoin the team. He will compete alongside Akash Nandy in Formula Masters’ sixth event in Shanghai on 25th-27th October.

Moreover, Wells will take part in the Asian championship’s invitational race which will be held at the prestigious Macau Grand Prix in November.

The 22-year-old British driver made his mark in Asia after gaining multiple podiums and back to back victories for KCMG last year; ultimately concluding Formula Pilota’s first season by finishing second in the series standings. Prior to his success in the Far East, the British driver prevailed in the 2011 Formula Renault UK Finals Series and emerged as Championship runner-up after securing 3 podiums in 6 races.

Dan Wells, KCMG Formula Masters Driver: “I’m so happy that I’m going to be rejoining the team after our success last year together. A lot of people have worked very hard for this for a long time so I’m looking forward to repaying people’s faith in me with some good performances at two of my favourite circuits. I’d like to thank everyone involved with my new company Dan Wells and Investors Ltd and looking forward to being back in the car.”

John O’Hara, KCMG Deputy Managing Director: “We’re happy to welcome Dan back to the team this season. With the success that we’ve achieved in Formula Pilota last year, the team is looking forward to have Dan in the car. We are confident that his comeback will produce strong results in the series.”
