Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG primed for Formula Masters season ender in Macau

International motorsport group, Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG will field three cars in Formula Masters’10-lap invitational race as part of the Macau Grand Prix ‘s much-anticipated programme this year. 

Hailed as one of the ultimate meccas for speed enthusiasts, the 60th edition of the Asian motor racing classic will play host to Formula Masters’ exclusive finale at the legendary Guia Circuit from November 9-10.

Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG drivers Thomas Luedi, Akash Nandy and Dan Wells will line up on Macau’s revered grid along with other Formula Masters drivers from across Asia. After concluding the series’ final championship rounds in Shanghai last month, Luedi, Nandy, and Wells are set to demonstrate their prowess on the treacherous and highly technical Macau street circuit.

Top Speed China, the organiser of Formula Masters China Series, along with Volkswagen Group China aims to keep its commitment to help further develop promising motorsport talents by providing a world-class platform where drivers can compete and flourish. Hence, selecting the distinguished annual Asian motorsport spectacle as venue of the series’ closing event.

Thomas Luedi, Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG Driver: “I am very much looking forward to racing on the streets of Macau and participate in this great and very unique Grand Prix. It’s a tricky circuit with a very low margin for error, so I will focus on keeping the car on the track and give my best.”

Akash Nandy, Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG Driver: “After competing in Formula Masters for a full season in different circuits across Asia, I’ve to say that this race is the one that I am most looking forward to. The Guia Circuit has been one of my personal favourites and I am excited to be driving for the first time on this very challenging track.”

Dan Wells, Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG Driver: “I am ecstatic that the Macau Grand Prix is finally here. It is my favourite circuit in the world and provides some interesting driving challenges. Notably the middle sector, which is in my view, is the best part of the circuit. I’m looking forward to race and would like to thank my investors and sponsors in Dan Wells and Investors Ltd. I hope to repay them with a good result this weekend.”
