KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) looks ahead to a hectic weekend as their Japanese Motorsport Division gears up for the third event of the All-Japan Formula 3 Championship at Okayama International Circuit on June 14-15.

Shohei Yuzawa is eager to get back in his blue and white Toyota-powered Dallara F308 after a month’s hiatus from the Japanese formula series. During this interval, Yuzawa completed a series of tests with KCMG Super Formula driver Yuichi Nakayama on the 3.7km circuit in preparation for this weekend’s event, which will be comprised of Rounds 6 and 7.

Following the productive test sessions, which was held over two weekends early in June, Yuzawa heads to Okayama with an aim to secure his maiden victory in the highly competitive Japanese championship.

Shohei Yuzawa: “I’m looking forward to a productive weekend and to secure the team’s first victory in the championship. We’ve produced some encouraging results during the test sessions that we had over the break and it has given me much confidence as we head to JF3’s third event this weekend.”

Ryuji Doi, KCMG Japan General Manager: “Yuzawa has been working hard to prepare for this event and the team is confident that he will score more than just podiums over the weekend. Yuzawa has shown much progress since Motegi and the team is looking forward to a successful outing with him in Okayama.”
