KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) looks ahead to a hectic weekend as their Japanese Motorsport Division gears up for FIA Japanese F4’s second event at Fuji International Speedway on May 2 – 3. The national championship’s forthcoming two-race challenge will once again witness 32 cars battle it out for victory.

Yuki Nemoto and James Munro are both eager to be back in their blue and white Toyota-powered F4 Dome cars after nearly a month’s interval from the Japanese formula series. While the Toyota Racing School-backed Japanese driver is no stranger to Fuji’s 4.563km track, Christchurch ace Munro is primed for his maiden outing on one of Japan’s most challenging circuits.

James Munro: “I’m looking forward to another weekend in F4, there were some promising signs at Round one but we weren’t able to fully capitalize on our speed. Hopefully we can challenge up the front this weekend. Fuji is another new track to me but we have plenty of practice time to adapt.”

Yuki Nemoto: “I’m looking forward to a productive weekend and to secure the team’s first victory in the championship. We’ve yielded some encouraging results in Okayama early this month and that gives me confidence as we head to FIA Japanese F4’s second event this weekend.”

Ryuji Doi, KCMG Head of Motorsport: “Yuki and James have been working hard to prepare for this event and the team is confident that they will score more than just podiums over the weekend. Both drivers have shown much potential at Okayama and we’re looking forward to a successful outing with them at Fuji.”
