Super Formula returns to Fuji Speedway following recent mid-season testing, with Kids com Team KCMG hoping to push from a positive two days at the circuit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the previous round at Sportsland Sugo, Kamui Kobayashi used his experience to claim another top-10 finish for the squad in a rain-affected contest, extending the team\u2019s points-scoring streak to nine consecutive events.<\/p>\n

Teammate Nirei Fukuzumi will be looking for a return to the top-10 at a track where he secured a podium finish in 2021, taking third in the opening race of that season.<\/p>\n

This is the first of three races which will be held at Fuji Speedway, with the series returning in October for a double-header.<\/p>\n

Kids com Team KCMG will have fond memories of the circuit from last year, where they picked up a double-points finish and their best result of the season in the foothills of Mount Fuji.<\/p>\n

The circuit\u2019s main feature is one of the longest straight in motorsports. At a length of 1.475km, overtaking is likely to happen into Turn 1, before a technical lap follows which will test the drivers throughout.<\/p>\n

#7 KAMUI KOBAYASHI<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re looking to be competitive in Round 4 following our recent testing at Fuji Speedway. We gathered lots of data and will work hard to find a set-up that we can fight at the front with. Fuji is a popular venue for Super Formula fans to visit, so I\u2019m hoping to put on a good show for the spectators this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n

#8 NIREI FUKUZUMI<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201cWe had a positive test at Fuji so I\u2019m excited to return to the track for the next round of the 2024 season. We\u2019ll work together as a team along with Kamui to do our best to secure a positive result for both cars.\u201d<\/p>\n

RYUJI DOI<\/strong> KCMG HEAD OF MOTORSPORT<\/h4>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited for this weekend as the event is a local one for the team and\u00a0we will have more guests than usual, so are aiming to put on a good show! The data we collected in the test was useful, so hopefully this will help us with the car setup for this round. We\u2019ll work hard as a unit to achieve a solid result and keep up our top-10 finishing streak.\u201d<\/p>\n
