KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) showed consistently competitive pace throughout the weekend to claim a well-deserved Super Taikyu Series podium finish at Okayama International Circuit.
For the sixth and penultimate round of 2023, the #202 Honda NSX GT3 EVO was driven strongly by the team’s regular line-up of Paul Ip, Marchy Lee Ying-Kin and Ho-Pin Tung.
The Hong Kong-based squad’s best qualifying showing of the season, less than a second off pole position, saw them starting third on the grid.
The three drivers navigated the short yet complex circuit adeptly, with Tung setting the second fastest lap of the race, posting a time of 1.31.806. The trio showed excellent pace throughout, securing a strong podium finish in third place.
The final event of the 2023 Super Taikyu Series takes place at Fuji Speedway on 11-12 November.
