KCMG SUPER FORMULA ROUNDS 3, 6 AND 7 DRIVER LINE-UP AND TEAM STRUCTURE ANNOUNCEMENT

KCMG confirms its driver line-up for the rescheduled Round 3 as well as Rounds 6 and 7 of the 2026 SUPER FORMULA campaign at Fuji Speedway on 17-19 July.

KCMG is pleased to announce that “Haier”, the No.1* global brand in major home appliances including refrigerators, freezers and washing machines, will support the team as the event sponsor for this race weekend. In addition, a collaborative Haier × KCMG booth will be featured in the event area. We warmly invite all fans attending the event to stop by and visit us.

The third round of the 2026 campaign, which was postponed at Autopolis due to adverse weather conditions, will take place on the morning of Sunday 19 July. The official qualifying results from that event will stand, meaning Seita Nonaka will drive the #9 car.

For Rounds 6 and 7, Giuliano Alesi will drive the #9 machine. During the recent mid-season SUPER FORMULA test, Alesi successfully completed the team’s planned technical programme and contributed valuable data. He will continue as the driver of the #9 car for the remainder of the 2026 SUPER FORMULA season, alongside Kenta Yamashita in the #8 machine. Meanwhile, Seita Nonaka will support the squad in his role as KCMG’s reserve driver.

KCMG remains determined to fight back during the second half of the 2026 season and sincerely appreciates the continued support of all our fans and partners.

KENTA YAMASHITA

“With three races taking place at Fuji Speedway next weekend, performance will be extremely important. During the mid-season test, we were able to try various set-up options, and I feel that we have prepared well for the second half of the year. I want to be fighting at the front and build a strong momentum for the races ahead.”

GIULIANO ALESI

“I would like to thank TOYOTA and KCMG for this opportunity and putting their trust in me. I’m extremely excited and motivated for this challenge and want to achieve as much as I possibly can for this team. It’s a big opportunity and I can’t wait to get started.”

SEITA NONAKA

“Although this is an unusual chance to race in unexpected circumstances, I would like to thank everyone involved for making it possible. Going straight into Round 3 during the race weekend without any prior running will be a challenge, but I’ll do everything I can to deliver the best performance possible and contribute to the team. Thank you for your continued support.”
