KCMG enter Japanese F3 with Ryosuke Takehira

KCMG has confirmed that Japanese F4 Champion, Ryosuke Takehira will compete in Japanese Formula 3’s 2nd event at Twin Ring Motegi on May 11-12. The Hong Kong based motorsport team aims to have another thriving run in the Japanese series after a successful season with Gary Thompson and Matt Howson last year.

Prior to competing in Japanese F3, Takehira participated in the 2011 Super FJ Motegi Series and was champion of Japanese F4 East-Japan Series in 2012. The Japanese driver has won multiple times in Motegi which gives the team an advantage in the upcoming JF3 event next week.

Takehira is looking forward to his maiden Japanese F3 outing. He states, “I am looking forward to compete in Motegi. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to take part in such a renowned motorsport series in Japan. I am happy to be working with KCMG and to have everyone’s support in my first race!

KCMG Japan General Manager Ryuji Doi is pleased to have the Japanese driver represent KCMG in Motegi, “The team is happy to be back in Japanese Formula 3 with Ryosuke Takehira this season. He is a champion of several racing series’ around Japan and he has won in Motegi repeatedly. The team is looking forward to working with Takehira and I feel confident that he will do well in his first F3 race.
