As the 2013 season of Super Formula draws to a close, KC Motorgroup Ltd.’s (KCMG) blue and white Swift FN09 will line up on its grid for the last time this year at Fuji Speedway on November 24. After six rounds of top-level Formula racing across Japan, Richard Bradley looks to wrap up the season on a high note in the annual Fuji Sprint Cup.
Super Formula’s exclusive non-championship race will be held as part of the JAF Grand Prix. Each year, Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) celebrates this motorsport spectacle to culminate Super Formula and Super GT’s current season.
The series’ grand finale will see drivers go up against each other and display their skills on the high-speed 4.563km circuit with the majestic Mount Fuji as backdrop. Following a strong showing in Super Formula’s final championship round at Suzuka Circuit earlier this month, Bradley is aiming to sign off in style at Fuji.
Richard Bradley, KCMG Super Formula Driver: “I’m very much looking forward to the Fuji Sprint Cup. It will be different from our normal type of races in Super Formula as this will be a short race with no pit stops. I believe that we can build on everything we have learned this year and aim for a strong result this weekend.”
