The Super Taiwan Touring Car Championship has signed Hankook as the official tire supplier for its upcoming 2012 season.
Setting a standard with leading international tire supply services, Hankook is widely utilized in a number of racing championships across the world.
KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG), Hankook’s exclusive distributor of competition tires in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, will facilitate the new affiliation between the Korean tire manufacturer and the Taiwanese touring car championship.
Apart from delivering global standards, Hankook has pledged an annual sponsorship of TWD 500,000 to directly aid the development of Taiwanese motorsport.
KCMG Business Development Director Richie Chen is pleased to be part of this new association with STTCC. He expressed, “It is a great pleasure to bring Hankook Tires to STTCC this season. We are looking forward to a steadfast partnership, as we are committed to provide the best options and products available in motorsport across Asia.”
Tire purchase for competitors and on-site servicing will be carried out by KCMG partner Nagahama International Limited.
