SGC by KCMG poised for Formula Nippon 2012

SGC by KCMG is primed for the 2012 season of Formula Nippon. The team will continue to be backed by SG Create, as the upcoming season gets underway in Suzuka Circuit this weekend.

The Toyota Motor Corporation supported team has also confirmed Ryo Orime for the Formula Nippon seat after a successful test at Fuji International Speedway last month.

The Japanese driver, who raced Formula Nippon in 2006, will once again compete against professional drivers from all over the world. Orime will drive a Swift FN09 powered by 3.4 litre Toyota V8 engine, which he sampled during pre-season testing.

During preparation for the upcoming season of Formula Nippon, KCMG Japan General Manager, Ryuji Doi expressed, “It is with great satisfaction to continue our partnership with SG Create in Formula Nippon. We are looking forward to a progressive year as we are pleased to have Orime drive for us and we are keen for good results throughout the season.”

The opening event on April 14-15 will launch the first round of the highly competitive Japanese championship.
