SGC by KCMG secures drive for Matt Howson in 2012 Japanese Formula 3

SGC by KCMG officially announced that Matt Howson will drive for the team alongside Gary Thompson in the Japanese Formula 3 National Class this season.

Howson, who competed for the team in the latter part of the 2011 season of Japanese Formula 3, returns this year driving a Toyota-powered Dallara F308.

The British driver will be backed by Solo Music Agency and Isle of Wight Festival as he continues to pursue his racing career in Asia. Howson states, “It’s good to be back racing in Japan with SGC by KCMG. I know the team well from my experience last year and we are confident that we can be up front this season.”

KCMG General Manager (Japan) Ryuji Doi quoted, “We are very pleased to have Matt back with us on the grid. Matt is a very talented driver and it gives us great opportunity to fight for victory with both cars.”

The second event of Japanese Formula 3 will be held at Twin Ring Motegi on May 12-13.
