SGC by KCMG set for the challenge ahead in Autopolis

SGC by KCMG travels to Autopolis International Circuit for Round 3 of Formula Nippon on May 26-27. The team, represented by Ryo Orime, prepares for another demanding race of 54 laps on the undulating, picturesque and very challenging 4.674 km circuit. Currently, it is the only race being held in Japan’s southern island of Kyushu.

The Japanese driver needs to complete over 252 km in his Toyota V8-engined Swift FN09, making it one of the most physically demanding races on the calendar. The event at Autopolis will be the third of seven Formula Nippon rounds, with the season running until mid-November of this year.

Orime finished in 15th position during the second round of the Japanese championship in Motegi early this month. KCMG General Manager (Japan) Ryuji Doi has been quoted, “We are expecting better results this upcoming race weekend in Autopolis. The team has been pushing to ensure that there are developments as we press on in every round of the championship.”
