KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) is primed to sign off in style as the 2014 season of Super Formula draws to a close at Suzuka Circuit this weekend. After six rounds of top-level Formula racing across Japan, Yuichi Nakayama is set to conclude the year on a high note in his #18 Toyota-powered Dallara SF14.

The Hong Kong-based squad returns to Suzuka’s 5.807km Formula 1 circuit for the championship’s culminating event. As the forthcoming challenge brings down the curtain on Super Formula’s 2014 season, the team is looking to round off the year with positive results.

Nakayama’s outstanding display of skill was highlighted when the 2013 Japanese F3 champion led the race for several laps in the series’ penultimate event at Sugo. KCMG is aiming to carry over the momentum from their last Super Formula outing to the series’ final two-race affair at Suzuka this weekend.

Yuichi Nakayama: “The season was full of new learning and we’ve progressed significantly in the championship. I’m looking forward to be back in the car after a month-long interval. My aim is to maintain the competitive pace that we’ve established in the previous events as we head to Super Formula’s final two races at Suzuka this weekend.”

Ryuji Doi, KCMG Japan General Manager: “We return to Suzuka for Super Formula’s season finale with the goal to wrap up the year in top form. The team’s performance at Sugo is a testament that we can finish the season with Yuichi fighting at the front. We are confident of a strong result and we’re looking forward to provide the fans with two exciting races as we cap off the series’ 2014 season!”
