KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) is set to further expand its motorsport division’s initiatives in Asia through a two-car entry in Asian Formula Renault this season. Organized by Formula Racing Development, it is considered as one of Asia’s most successful entry-level single seater series.
Originally brought to the Far East in 2000, Asian Formula Renault’s 16th season will commence in March and will comprise of 12 races, which will be held in China and Malaysia.
The one-make series, which introduces the new Formula Renault 2.0 in 2015, offers a technologically advanced and cost efficient Formula racing car, enabling drivers to participate in a competitive regional championship for a reasonable budget.
