KCMG primed for JF3 challenge in Motegi

KCMG is all set for the 2nd event of Japanese Formula 3 at Twin Ring Motegi on May 11-12. Japanese F4 champion Ryosuke Takehira will represent the team in one Japan’s most competitive series’ with the expectations of a progressive debut race this weekend.

The Japanese driver has competed and won numerous times on Twin Ring Motegi’s 4.8km road course circuit. This gives the KCMG JF3 team confidence that the Japanese driver will be on the pace early and can set best lap times throughout the race weekend.

Headed by KCMG Japan General Manager Ruyji Doi, the team’s current JF3 campaign aims at contending for podiums. Doi-san and the team are working on developing the Toyota Dallara further to provide Takehira with the best car to compete in. Doi-san was quoted, “It’s nice to back and compete in Japanese F3 with a driver like Takehira. He has shown great potential in F4 and we’re looking forward to his debut race in JF3 this weekend. The team is confident that it will be a good first race for KCMG and we are aiming to deliver strong results with Takehira.

Ryosuke Takehira: “We are looking forward to the race weekend at Twin Ring Motegi. It will be my maiden race in JF3 and I am really excited to compete against some of the most talented drivers in Japan. I will try my best to challenge for a podium or win this weekend.
